Good Samaritan saves dog named George from the Texas winter storm

HOUSTON — A dog named George is still alive thanks to a Good Samaritan’s huge heart. 

The day before Houston’s historic winter storm, Elizabeth Canchola saw a post on neighborhood Facebook group about a dog roaming the streets.

Joe Germanotta, Lady Gaga’s dad, speaks out following stolen dogs incident

“We are hoping for an act of kindness so we can get the dogs back,” Germanotta told CNN in a phone call Friday morning. “We are upset about [the dog walker]. It’s very appalling that someone would shoot somebody to steal some dogs. Hopefully, they’ll be caught so we can get the dogs back safely.”

Horrifying home surveillance video captured the moment Lady Gaga’s dog walker was shot by crooks who stole two of the singer’s beloved French bulldogs — and the victim’s anguished screams for help as he lay bleeding on a Los Angeles street.

The footage, obtained by TMZ, caught the dog walker strolling with the pooches in tow around 9:40 p.m. Wednesday when a white, four-door sedan pulled up alongside him.

“Give it up!” yelled one of two men who hopped out of the car and jumped the dog walker, identified by TMZ as Ryan Fischer.
