‘Incredibly intoxicated’ man shot and barbecued his dog: cops

An “incredibly intoxicated” Pennsylvania man shot his dog and grilled the animal in a fire pit in his front yard, authorities said.

Nikolay Lukyanchikov, 48, was arrested Friday outside his Northampton Township home, where cops found a burning fire pit and a couch in flames in the front yard, police said.

“Once the fire was under control, patrol observed an unknown animal badly burned and charred on top of a small metal charcoal grill,” Northampton Township police said in a statement. “It was later learned the animal was Lukyanchikov’s dog.”

Conservative Watchdog Sues Secret Service Over White House Dog-Biting Incident

Judicial Watch announced on Tuesday that it filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) after government agency allegedly failed to process the records of regarding the White House dog-biting incident in a timely manner.

The lawsuit seeks “all records of communication between USSS officials responsible for protection at the White House regarding the Biden family dogs, named Champ and Major.”

Thrift shop in need of help after burglary

An Englewood thrift store that has become a safe haven for people in need found itself on hard luck after a burglary caused hundreds of dollars in damage to the shop.

In the early morning April 26, the building’s owner received a security phone call and arrived at the shop to find a broken window and a damaged wall, according to Soul Dog Rescue, the animal rescue nonprofit that runs Soul Dog thrift shop on South Broadway.
