Witness shares video of attack on Lady Gaga’s dog walker

Video of a violent robbery in which two men shot Lady Gaga’s dog walker and stole two of her purebred French bulldogs in Hollywood on Wednesday night shows a swift attack in which the animals were clearly the target of the robbers — corroborating an eyewitness account from the camera’s owner.

“They had a motive, and they didn’t care,” said Carlos Pantoja, 29, who said he witnessed the shooting from his porch before calling 911 and comforting the dog walker, Ryan Fischer, on the street.

Rescue dog that nobody wanted saves life of new owner

The Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge in New Jersey is a shelter of last resort.  

“Our purpose is really to take the ones that don’t have anywhere else to go. And that was Sadie,” said executive director Megan Brinster.

A woman returned Lady Gaga’s stolen dogs to the Los Angeles Police Department on Friday, but the mystery over their kidnapping and the shooting of their dog walker only intensified.

Lady Gaga’s dogs returned unharmed

Lady Gaga’s stolen dogs were turned in unharmed Friday night, the Los Angeles Police Department said.

A woman brought the dogs into the LAPD’s Olympic station in Koreatown on Friday night, police confirmed. The Associated Press first reported their return.

“The woman found the dogs and reached out to Lady Gaga’s staff to return them,” the LAPD said in a statement. “The woman’s identity and the location the dogs were found will remain confidential due to the active criminal investigation and for her safety.”

Lady Gaga’s dogs recovered safely after theft, shooting

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Lady Gaga’s two French bulldogs, which were stolen by thieves who shot and wounded their walker, were recovered unharmed Friday, Los Angeles police said.

A woman brought the dogs to the LAPD’s Olympic Community Police Station, just northwest of downtown, around 6 p.m, said Capt. Jonathan Tippet, commanding officer of the department’s elite Robbery-Homicide Division.

Lady Gaga’s representative and detectives went to the station and confirmed that they were the dogs, Tippet said.

The singer is currently in Rome to film a movie.
